Group lessons are a focused approach to Western riding skills with emphasis on fun, communication and safety. Minimum 3, maximum 5. Separate groups for 6-16 and adults. Series of 4 lessons -$50 each lesson.
New Horse Owner: Safety for horse and human, feeding, grooming, basic health, foot care, stabling, horse types, selection of tack (types & fitting), handling the horse, gender difference, and buying assistance. 4 hours each day Saturday and Sunday every other month. $100
Gaited Horse: What is a gaited horse? How do I get the horse to gait? How do I know the horse is gaiting? We like to trail ride all day and still be able to line dance in the evenings. With that in mind, we have started using gaited horses on our ling rides. This 6 week package of lessons are an introduction to riding the gaited horse. $300
Driving lessons: Single or pair, this series of lessons are designed as a primer to driving. We will cover harnessing, hitching, and handling the lines. We will hitch to different carts and wagons and drive several different horses. At the end of these lessons we would expect the student to be able to harness, hitch and drive off in a safe manner. 8 hours $450
